Donald was born in California, USA at Edwards Air Force Base on 25 September 1983, he is an American actor, comedian, director and rapper. The genre that Childish Gambino fits in is Hip Hop, R&B and Soul. His most recent video 'This is America' is a controversial video about his view on the American government and that they do not care about the public safety and just in general have no interest in what is happening with the gun violence and the government say that the only way to reduce gun violence is by giving more guns to different people for their safety which is utterly wrong also this video was debuted at number 1 on Hot 100 in America which gave him publicity. The character that Donald Glover is playing in his videos is the whatever reason the mood of the video for example in Childish Gambino - 3005 he plays a character who stays the same and everything around him gets old and broken, we can see the teddy bear which is not a real person gets old at the end of the video and is teared up and in the background we can see fire set in the distance which might mean that Gambino goes around in circles in his life and repeats the same mistakes and everything gets worse every time something changes. Also, the teddy bear is new at the start of the video and then burnt and looks old at the end of the video. Childish Gambino record company is RCA Records with which he signed with recently in 2018. In most of his videos, he wears ordinary clothing such as a shirt and a jacket or a sweater apart from 'This is America' where he wears grey trousers and no shirts which shows us that Glover represents us what black slaves used to wear during slavery. The camerawork keeps the artist in the middle of the frame in most of his videos to keep him in focus through-out the video. The audience sees the singer as expressing himself in his videos and that he had a successful attempt in 'This is America' at expressing his message on what happens in America every day and everyone ignores about the problems.
