My Music
My favourite genres are rap and deep house because they have a fast or slow flow in the song or melody which I really enjoy listening to.
A shot from Me, Myself & I, from the shot itself we can see the clip, has a dark setting and the clip itself represents him being by himself and that all he has are fake friends and only trusts himself. Also, represent a life he always wanted.
A shot from You Got Me, the shot shows us that he is very surprised with his life and enjoy it. From the clip, we can see that it represents G-Eazy's 2 different sides - G-Eazy and Gerald and that he would never be able to live like this, going to strip clubs and other things which forced him to create 2 sides of himself.
A shot from Drifting, this is a shot when he is trying to reach someone over the phone who he loved and misses. The clip itself represents G-Eazy's side of regret of having to deal with Groupies and losing contact with the woman he loved.
My favourite artist is G-Eazy who is an American rapper with heritage from Ukraine and a self-financed record producer, the reason why he is my favourite rapper is that his flow in the songs he writes and raps just stands-out to the other major rappers in the music industry.
I do not own any albums from G-Eazy but I listened to pretty much 90% of his songs which I was able to find on youtube
+I like his personality, his style, his haircut, and that he raps about his life from starting at the bottom producing songs to his life in the music-stream right now and that he achieved what he wanted since he was born and want to stay in the industry for a long time. I even get my hair cut to how he styles it.
I accidentally saw his music video in youtube as a recommended 'I Mean It' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxnaPa8ohmM) and clicked it and just loved the flow of the song and was very happy to find a rapper who stand out for me compared to the other rappers I listened to.
Both songs 'I Mean It' and 'Been On' were heavily advertised on Youtube which gave him publicity over his music in 2015. 'I Mean It' has 279 million views and 'Been On' has 76 million views
I'll see him live on Friday 1 June 2018 at O2 Academy Brixton.
My thoughts on his music videos is that they all have a different style from each other, some are positive some are negative, some talk about success some talk about the substances he abused but all of them have a great use of lighting and movement of the story based on an event he is trying to describe.

Website https://g-eazy.com/
The website is very easy to use as it shows us 4 hyperlinks at the top of the page for his 'Home' page which is the main page when users get on his website. 'Music' which shows the albums he produced so far in his career. 'Tour' is after he creates an album he travels around the world to perform his album in different countries within a 6 - 9 month period. 'Merch' is a link to where he sells his brand clothing and usually earns about 30% of sales on the clothing being sold.
My favourite albums are 'When It's Dark Out' and 'The Beautiful and Damned' because the songs in these albums have a different tone to the songs from the other albums, they seem more futuristic than the songs in the albums 'These Things Happen' ; 'Must Be Nice' ; 'The Endless Summer' ; 'The Outsider' and the songs in these 2 albums I like talk more about the dark side of Gerald's life and success and what he had to go through. The songs in the other 3 albums are more positive and cover the light side of G-Eazy's life.
The hyperlink for the 'Tour' shows the different cities he will perform in different cities. His tour for the Beautiful and Damned began in December in some major cities in the USA where he performed all 20 songs each night or every couple of nights. His tour will end in Miami, USA on the 8th September.
The tour page shows us from left to right, the month/date of performance; name of venue; City/ Country; and then there are 3 clickable buttons - Tickets; VIP; RSVP
Tickets is where you buy the tickets for the show, VIP are tickets which are more expensive than the original ones, these tickets might allow an individual get backstage access of greeting the artist, but the price is about 5x more expensive than an ordinary tickets, RSVP is a responding process from a person being invited to the event.
The link for Merch is where you can buy the clothing which represents G-Eazy image and the prices vary from $25 for a vinyl record of his new album to $400 for a leather jacket which is similar to the one he wears during concerts.
His ideology is that he doesn't compare himself to other rappers and thinks that Eminem is the greatest rapper who changed the rap industry and that Eminem inspired him in making his own music. He does though have his own opinion against Donald Trump and that Trump is ruining America and even created a voice-over to YG - 'FDT' track which gives Donald Trump bad publicity of how he is controlling America and that his religious views are wrong.
